The problem with Linux (as many who are mostly unfamiliar with it want you to believe) is that it’s just too difficult to use when compared to the likes of Windows and macOS. Well, let’s put those mistaken assumptions to rest once and for all.

Here’s the beauty of using Linux (unlike with Windows and macOS). If you don’t like a particular distribution’s user experience, then you’re free to switch to a different one which is better-suited to your liking.

Windows and macOS don’t give you any options. You pretty much have to use it the way Microsoft and Apple intend you to use it.

Over the decades, I’ve made quite a few decisions. Some good. Some not so good. With each of them (both good and bad), I learned various lessons. One of the better ones was when I decided to simply stop paying for TV channels that were freely available to me and why choosing the right antenna matters. This episode focuses on my cord cutting journey since originally reporting on it back in November 2020.

We often-times think that the status-quo is all there is when it comes to the technology options available to us. Take Windows and macOS for example.

Did you know that there is yet another alternative that's every bit as powerful and feature-rich as those two operating systems? Not only that, but the alternative (known as Linux) supports not only the new computers, but older model computers that both Apple's macOS and Microsoft Windows no longer support.

Microsoft Office has been and still is the best-known office suite, however let's look at some equally as capable alternatives to Microsoft Office.
